Join EMDR Canada

Membership Requirements:

1. Relevant graduate degree (Master’s level or equivalent in a clinical mental health care discipline)
2. Current registration in a recognized regulatory body *license/registration number required
3. Completed an approved EMDR (Basic or Weekend 1&2) training *documentation required

Proof of Completion of Training Required: Please fax a copy of your training certificate of completion to 514-303-1441, or mail to P.O. Box 304, Rosemont Station, Montreal, Quebec, Canada  H1X 3B8. Your membership will not be completely processed until this documentation is received. 

Please note: Individuals who have completed Weekend 1 of the Basic Training in EMDR are welcome to join EMDR Canada at the Student rate (with the same benefits as the student membership). They can upgrade their status to full member once they have obtained their Basic Training certificate by paying the difference in membership fee if this occurs within the same membership period. A letter from your EMDR Trainer confirming your status is required.

Please note: A certificate of completion for Weekend 1 and/or Weekend 2 is not the requirement for EMDRIA certification. EMDRIA has a specific process that must be completed in order to receive this designation.

2010 Full Membership is $150
2010 Membership after Weekend 1 of the Basic Training is $ 75
2010 Retired Membership is $75

Student Membership Requirements:

1. Proof of full time relevant degree enrollment required
2. Letter from Graduate Supervisor and/or EMDR Supervisor

Note: Student Membership does not include membership in EMDRIA or directory listing.

MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

1. Click on the Join EMDR Canada Now! button below.
2. You will be asked to select your username and password.
Your username MUST be your first name, a period, then your last name :
e.g. john.doe
Do NOT use hyphens, accentuated letters, apostrophes in your name.
Do NOT include your professional designation.
Doing so may influence how your listing is displayed in the directory.
3. Choose and confirm your own password as indicated on the form and store this information in a safe place for future reference.

Note: You will receive a confirmation email with your username and password in it once the registration form and payment are complete. If you do not receive this confirmation email it may mean that information was entered correctly on the form. The first email is a confirmation of your APPLICATION. Once all required criteria for your application are received you will receive a second confirmation of your MEMBERSHIP which includes your tax receipt.
