Welcome to EMDR Canada
EMDR therapy is an empirically validated treatment used by clinicians who adhere to a well established methodology.
EMDR Canada provides the public information on EMDR as a therapeutic option as well as the means of locating trained clinicians in their regions.
We offer professionals information about EMDR in the event they seek an appropriate referral for their clients. You will find information about participating in trainings to become EMDR clinicians and for those professionals already trained in EMDR we offer a Canadian membership to our parent organization, EMDRIA providing access to all the memberships’ benefits of both associations.
EMDR Canada members gain access to scholarly publications of up to date research, a calendar of advanced training events and conference information, a membership directory, a library of EMDRIA Newsletters, and access to the community discussion forum to communicate with other EMDR therapists.
EMDR Canada’s 2010 Conference
“The Many Faces of EMDR”
was held in Toronto, Ontario from April 30th to May 2nd 2010
and attended by over a 100 enthousiastic EMDR therapists.
We thank all our speakers and participants for their contribution making this Conference a great succes !
